Syria: Russian plane lands in Latakia, will take civilians to Moscow

A Russian plane landed in the Syrian port city of Latakia, carrying food and medical supplies. In a statement released by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations it was reported that the plane will evict some 180 former Soviet Union citizens who are interested in leaving Syria in light of the regional tension, among them are 100 Russians.
