Senior American officials told NBC on Monday that a missile strike on Syria can be carried out soon as possible, even on Thursday.
According to the sources, the "three days of attack" will be limited in terms of scope, and their aim will be to send a message to President Bashar Assad and not necessarily to harm his military capabilities. They stressed that any military operation is not meant to kill Assad but to respond to the use of chemical weapons. The targets will be bunker headquarters, airports and artillery. (Ynet)
