Defense Minister Ya'alon promises IDF's 'might' against Syria
Against the background of the impending Western strike in Syria, Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said: "Those who dare to test us will encounter the IDF's might. Facing the storm, the IDF's spirit is no less strong." He added that Assad's forces "have used chemical weapons and not for the first time to kill women and children. It seems the enlightened nations understand who it is they're facing."
Chief of Staff Brig. Gen. Benny Gantz said: "We'll not encourage bellicose sentiments in our midst, but our defensive duty will be realized by the IDF. To those who wish to harm us I say we're stronger and more determined than ever." (Yoav Zitun)
