An 18-year-old woman from central Israel was arrested this week under suspicion of soliciting five men to rape her 22-year-old friend. According to the police, last Thursday, after the two went out, the 18-year-old contacted a group of men, brought her friend to where they were staying, and watched her being raped.
Police is searching for the men who were at the location. One has been arrested.

The complainant said she had been drugged before the acts were committed. Lawyer Nir Alfasa, who represents the suspect, claimed that the acts were all consensual. He said this was a pastime of the two friends, and that the 18-year-old often went to parties, used drugs, and engaged in group sex.
The suspect was arrested last Friday and was released Wednesday to house arrest. The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court has forbidden her from contacting the complainant. If an indictment is submitted, it is likely to include charges of solicitation to rape and conspiracy to commit a crime.
It is suspected that the two women went out last Thursday and the suspect asked her friend if she wanted to go on to an "after party." She then contacted the group of men and told them that she is with a friend who is "into orgies".
During remanding debates at court, police claimed that the suspect also tried to obstruct investigation by calling one of the suspects and telling him police are looking for him.
