Sinai: 4 gunmen killed in clashes with security forces

The Al-Arabiya network reported that four gunmen were killed in a car bomb explosion, after long battles between Egyptian security forces and gunmen in the city of El-Arish. On Thursday, Deputy Chairman of the Armed Forces of Egypt, Sedki Sobhi, patrolled the area.
Muslim Brotherhood protests against the interim Egyptian regime are expected to take place Friday. Sources in northern Sinai warned in an interview with the Al-Sharq Al-Awsat paper that there is a possibility Hamas forces will use these rallies to infiltrate from the Gaza Strip unto Egyptian land.
