Egyptian report: Sinai's al-Qaeda leader arrested
Egyptian media reported that security and military forces arrested al-Qaeda leader in the Sinai Peninsula, known as Adel Muhammad Ibrahim. He was arrested together with two other men.
According to the report, Ibrahim confessed in his interrogation that he commanded the massacre committed two weeks ago, in which 25 policemen were killed in a road between El-Arish and Rafah. Ibrahim was arrested in the past due to his involvement in attacks in Sinai and was sentenced to death, however managed to escape. (Roi Kais)
