PM: Law discriminating women beyond Green Line to be amended
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that by the upcoming Knesset session, the law that differentiates women within the Green Line and beyond it will be amended.
Ynet reported that due to a legal flaw, Jewish and Palestinian women living beyond the Green Line are not protected during pregnancy and can be fired from their work at any time. Netanyahu ordered to have the matter changed through legislation or an order issued by the IDF Central Command chief. (Itamar Fleishman)
