Kerry: Congress will 'do the right thing'
US Secretary of State John Kerry said he is certain Congress "will do the right thing" on President Obama's request for approval of a unilateral military strike against the Syrian regime.
Speaking to CNN, Kerry said, "We have confidence there are good people in the Congress of the United States," noting the importance of protecting allies in the region, like Israel and Jordan. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
