Erdan: Broadcast Authority has lost its relevance

Communications Minister Gilad Erdan announced at a Tel Aviv press conference the delay in implementation of broadcast reform, and the establishment of a committee to review the future of public broadcasting. Broadcast reform was decided upon seven years ago. "The reform was to have passed on millions of shekels to the public authority, which has not fulfilled its role," said Arden.
"The goals of the authority have not been achieved and the authority has lost its relevance. Those injured by this conduct are solely the public," he added. (Itay Blumenthal)
