Syrian official: Army on alert despite delay in US strike

A Syrian defense official told AFP that the Syrian army will remain on high alert despite reports that the US is postponing its strike in Syria.
The official said that "Direct American intervention is a part of the ongoing war against Syria, to support terror. The army is on high alert and will remain so until all terror is wiped out completely." (Roi Kais)
