Sa'ar signs law banning infiltrators from wiring money

Interior Minister Gideon Sa'ar signed a law banning infiltrators and asylum seekers from sending money out of Israel following an approval in the Knesset House Committee.
Under the law, the transfer of funds is a criminal offence. Infiltrators are permitted to take money or property out of Israel only when leaving the country. According the Interior Ministry, infiltrators funnel between NIS 700 and NIS 800 million out of Israel every year. (Omri Efraim)
