Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Affairs Committee in the Iranian parliament, Alaa a-Din Brojerdi, met with Syrian President Bashar Assad in Damascus and said that "Assad's morale is high."
Brojerdi said in a televised interview that "the crisis could start with one missile, but it'll be hard to control it afterward." He congratulated US President Obama for choosing "a sensible position. I believe Obama doesn’t wish to start a new crisis to be added to his political history." (Roi Kais)
