Report: US-trained fighters sneaking into Syria
US President Barack Obama indicated in a meeting with Republican senators that a covert effort by the United States to arm and train Syrian rebels was beginning to yield results: the first 50-man cell of fighters, who have been trained by the CIA, was beginning to sneak into Syria, the New York Times reported.
According to the report, senators John McCain and Lindsay Graham have decided to endorse a strike in Syria following the meeting. (Ynet)
