TA municipality: Will fix bylaw on Saturday businesses post-election
The Tel Aviv municipality has published its response to the Supreme Court ruling which called for enforcement of the law directed at businesses operating on Saturday. The statement said that the municipality will prepare a proposal to amend the municipal bylaw, and it will go before the city council after local elections.
Until the amendment, the city will not enforce the law against businesses that were open previously on Saturdays. Businesses which began to operate on Saturdays after the ruling was passed will be subject to full enforcement during this period. (Gilad Morag and Aviel Magnezi)
