Charge: Sudanese man hit girlfriend with hot iron
Charges were filed against a-Tayeb Mohammed, 33, a Sudanese man living in Tel Aviv, for beating his girlfriend and pressing a hot iron all over her body, after he returned home from a night on the town. After this, he hit her with an electrical cable and caused her serious injuries.
The prosecution asked that he remain in custody through the end of proceedings. (Naama Cohen-Friedman)
