US envoy sees no viable path forward on Syria in UNSC

There is "no viable path forward" in the UN Security Council when it comes to responding to the August 21 chemical attack in Syria that killed hundreds because Russia is holding the council hostage, the US envoy to the United Nations said on Thursday.

US Ambassador Samantha Power also told reporters that the United States has been briefing UN member states on its intelligence about the August 21 chemical weapon attack. (Reuters)
