Report: 30 gunmen hurt in anti-terror operation in northern Sinai
Arabic-language Sky News reported that 30 militants were hurt in an Egyptian army operation in northern Sinai. According to the report, some were killed. It was further added that 10 additional militants were arrested in Sheikh Zuweyid and Rafah.
Palestinian news agency Maan described the operation as the largest to take place in Sinai since the Yom Kippur War. Egyptian security sources told Maan that seven helicopters bombed hiding houses and apartments of militants. (Roi Kais)
