Bus driver who caused death of 24 tourists convicted

The Beersheba District Court convicted driver Edward Gelfond of manslaughter following the December 2008 accident involving a touris bus headed to Eilat that left 24 people dead.
According to the indictment, Gelfond dangerously overtook another bus on a curved road, hit the rail and lost control of the bus that fell into a chasm. (Ilana Curiel)
