Repoort: Abbas initiates plan to help Syria

Lebanese paper Aliwaa is reporting that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas initiated a plan to end the crisis in Syria. According to Palestinian sources who talked to the paper, Abbas' plan includes a cease-fire between the regime and the rebels and an interim government that will represent all sectors.
Abbas further proposed the establishment of a committee to oversee a presidential election in Syria in six months. The elections will be held under international supervision. (Roi Kais)
