US poll: 60% believe Congress should oppose attack

According to a recent poll, six out of every 10 Americans believe that Congress should oppose an attack on Syria. Seven out of every 10 said that an attack would not achieve any major goals. These numbers were reported by CNN.
Additionally, the survey found that if Congress does authorize the strike, 55% would oppose attacking Syrian military targets. If Congress does not authorize military action, 71% would oppose an aerial strike. (Ynet)
