Man sentenced to 4 years for arson, threats against Ethiopians

Benny Lugassi, 37, of Haifa, was sentenced to four years in prison after threatening Ethiopian neighbors who live near his mother. In addition, he was convicted of setting their car afire.
"This is a crime committed out of hatred and racism, a phenomenon that must be erased and pulled out from the root," wrote Judge Diana Sela in sentencing. (Ahiya Raved)
