Kerry speaks with Netanyahu about Israeli gas mask shortage

None

According to US Secretary of State John Kerry, the US is waiting to see a real and verifiable plan from Russia for removing chemical weapons from Syria, but will not wait long and will not accept a delaying tactic. "The proposal has to be swift, it has to be real, it has to be verifiable," he said Tuesday.

Kerry said he spoke to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the dangers of Syria's chemical weapons, and about the gas mask shortage in Israel. He added, "Iran is watching what we're doing." (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
