Peres: Assad cannot be trusted

Adressing the diplomatic solution to the Syrian crisis proposed by Russia, President Shimon Peres said: "The military threat against (President Bashar) Assad forced him to accept the initiative to disarm (his regime) of chemical weapons, but he cannot be trusted to live up to the agreement."
