IMF: Palestinian economy in precarious situation

Palestinians are in a precarious economic position and may struggle to keep financing their budgets over time, the International Monetary Fund mission chief for the West Bank and Gaza warned. The mission chief said that the economic situation is influenced primarily by the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. According to him, the Palestinians are suffering a slow down in growth, high unemployment, a large budgetary deficit and delays in receiving foreign assistance. (AP)
