Netanyahu extends Chief of Staff’s tenure by year

Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to extend the tenure of Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Beny Gantz by one year, for a total of four years, following the recommendation of Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon. The extension will be voted upon by the government at next week’s Tuesday meeting.
