Abbas to Hollande: Hope negotiations with Israel successful

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas told a news conference with French President Francois Hollande after their meeting in Paris, that he hoped that the negotiations between the Palestinians and Israel would be successful.

Abbas also addressed the Syrian issue and called on all parties in Syria to attend the Geneva conference to resolve the crisis, so that peace would return to Syria and the region. The two discussed the latest developments in the peace process, the situation in the region and cooperation between the Palestinian Authority and France. (Roi Kais)
