Syrian opposition official: Assad causes delay, gains time like Iran

Syrian National Coalition representative in Washington Najib al-Ghadban told London-based al-Sharq al-Awsat that he fears that the Syrian chemical weapons issue will become like the Iranian nuclear issue, "in order to cause delay and gain more time."
The Syrian opposition official clarified that "we oppose Assad remaining in power. His dismissal after the use of chemical weapons has become a matter of principle to us." Al-Ghadban added that "soon there will be a meeting between American keaders and Syrian opposition leaders in order to explain our opposition to the agreement." (Roi Kais)
