PM on Syrian deal: Israel's self defense more important than ever

None

During his speech in the official ceremony marking the 40th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War in Mount Herzl, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the treaty between the US and Russia regarding the disarming of Syria from chemical weapons.

"We hope that the understandings will bear results. This test also applies to the international community's diplomatic efforts to stop the Iranian nuclear armament. Here, too, not words but actions will determine (the future)," said Netanyahu, and added that "Israel must be prepared to defend itself, today more than ever." (Noam Dvir)
