During his speech in the official ceremony marking the 40th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War in Mount Herzl, Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon addressed the issue of Syrian chemical weapons treaty.
"We hope for the dismantling of Syria from chemical weapons. The test will be the implementation of the agreement. The world must be firm with the radical Iranian regime as it was with Syria," said Ya'alon, and added that "Israel extends its hand in peace, but is determined to cut any hand that would try to harm it."
