Syrian minister: Agreement a 'victory' for Damascus regime

Ali Haidar, Syria's minister for national reconciliation, said in an interview to the Russian news agency RIA that the US-Russia agreement regarding Syrian chemical weapons is a "victory" for the Damascus regime and for Moscow.
Haidar added that Syria is happy with the agreement, which will prevent military intervention in the country. (AFP)
