Arab League welcomes US-Russia deal on Syria chemical arms

Arab League Secretary General Nabil Elaraby welcomes the deal reached between the US and Russia regarding the issue of Syrian chemical weapons and said that the treaty "paves the way to a political solution in Syria."
Elaraby added that the treaty "will help create better terms for the possibility of another summit regarding Syria in Geneva." (AFP)
