In an interview to ABC, US President Barack Obama said that the Iranians understand that the nuclear issue is far greater than the chemical issue, and that Iran shouldn't assume that his preference for diplomacy means the US won't strike Tehran.
Obama added that the Iranian threat on Israel is a basic matter to deal with, and that the Iranians should conclude from the Syrian crisis that there is potential for diplomatic solutions to such crises. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
