US: Rabbi Berg, founder of Kabbalah Center, dies at 86

Rabbi Phillip Berg, founder of the Kabbalah Center, died in a Beverly Hills hospital on Monday night at the age of 86.
Born in New York, Berg was certified as a rabbi in 1951 and founded the Kabbalah Center in 1965. The Center gained considerable popularity due to the unusually large number of superstar attendees including pop singer Madonna and actors Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore. (Yaron Kelner)
