Iran: US threats will not influence our nuclear program

Iran responded to statements made by US President Barack Obama on Monday in an ABC interview in which he said the White House had not ruled out the option of a military strike, in order to reign in Iran's nuclear progress.

In Tehran, state TV quoted Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham as saying that “threatening language against Iran” will backfire, adding: “Interaction with Iran will be possible only through respect.” (News agencies)
