Knesset Member Miri Regev visited the Tikva Market in south Tel Aviv following the High Court of Justice's decision to overturn a law allowing illegal migrants to be held without trial for up to three years.
"We are here to tell the residents we support them. Within the next nine days we will introduce a bill that will protect the residents of south Tel Aviv," she said, adding that the proposal will allow the State to keep illegal migrants to holding facilities for a period of one year." (Gilad Morag)
