Officials said car bombings in northern and central Iraq have killed two civilians.
Police chief Col. Hussein Ali Rasheed said a suicide bomber blew up his explosives-laden vehicle in the ethnically mixed town of Tuz Khormato on Wednesday, killing one bystander and wounding 27. The town is located about 200 kilometers (130 miles) north of Baghdad. (AP)
