UK: 4 arrested on suspicion of terrorist activity in Syria

British police announced that two men were arrested this week in Port Dover, near the English Channel, on suspicion of involvement in terrorist activities in Syria. Two of those arrested are British citizens aged 22 and 29.
The arrests were carried out as part of an ongoing investigation by police, during which a man and woman from east London were detained. According to police, ammunition was discovered during the investigation. Recently, the government has expressed its concern over British citizens joining the Syrian rebels. (News agencies)
