Month delay in IDF evacuation from Gaza vicinity communities

Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon ordered a postponement in the removal of IDF forces guarding the settlements in the vicinity of Gaza. The decision to delay the evacuation was made following Ya’alon’s talk with Kibbutz Movement Secretary-General Eitan Broshi and mayors of communities in the Gaza area. The delay is in order to allow communities to prepare for the new situation. (Matan Zuri)
