Egypt to halt sale of Pharaoh artifacts

None

The Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities announced Saturday that it is taking steps to halt the sale of 126 archeological artifacts from the Pharaoh Era that were allegedly up for sale in an auction in Jerusalem.

The council turned to Interpol in a request to track the artifacts and demand Israel to investigate. The Egyptian announcement did not identify the artifacts in question. (Roi Kais)
