Iran's President Hasan Rohani says Tehran is ready for talks with the West on its disputed nuclear program as he prepares to head to New York for the UN General Assembly.
The latest appeal by the newly elected president came Sunday, a day before his scheduled departure. Rohani, who has vowed to reach out to the world, has said the trip may be a chance to start a new round of nuclear negotiations. (AP)
