Israel allows construction materials into Gaza
Israel authorized Sunday morning the entrance into Gaza of 70 trucks containing cement and iron for construction in the private sector – for the first time since Hamas was elected in the Gaza Strip.

The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories allowed the materials to transfer into Gaza per the Palestinian Authority's request. Israel refused to allow construction materials into Gaza so far, fearing it would be used to build barricades. (Elior Levy)
