A drraft of the Constitution of Egypt, destined for a referendum, will be ready by the beginning of November, said a spokesman Sunday from the committee entrusted with the Egyptian constitution. The spokesman, Mohammed Slmawi noted that some issues are still in dispute, including the military's status.
The previous constitution was approved by referendum in December, under the rule of deposed President Mohamed Morsi, but is perceived as having a tendency toward Islamization of law. (News agencies)
