PM orders disputed Hebron house to be inhabited in wake of shooting

Published: 09.23.13, 00:43 / Israel News

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has order the Machpelah house in Hebron to be inhabited. "Those who try to displace us from the city of our fathers will achieve only the opposite. With one hand we will fight terror and with the other we'll strengthen settlement."

In July, a Judea and Samaria military court ruled that the disputed house was lawfully purchased and rejected Defense Ministry claims of the opposite, thus clearing the way for settlers to move in. (Attila Somfalvi)
