A man who identified himself as commander of the terrorists who attacked the Kenyan mall in Nairobi and barricaded themselves inside with hostages has denied in an interview with the BBC reports that some of the terrorists are foreign nationals.

The man, going by the name Abu Omar, stressed that "there are rumors that the attackers are from the US, UK and other countries. All of this is untrue and baseless rumor." CNN reported Sunday night that elements within Al-Shabab, the group claiming responsibility for the attack, said three of its members are American. (AFP)
