Physician says Rabbi Ovadia Yosef 'in stable condition'

Prof. Dan Gilon, the physician treating Shas spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadia Yosef at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, says that "the rabbi had a quiet night. He is stable, and that definitely makes us happy."
He added that there was "an impression of a certain improvement" in the measures which led to the decision to anaesthetize the rabbi and hook him to a respiratory apparatus, and that in the coming hours the medical team will reevaluate the treatment. (Kobi Nachshoni)
