Report: Israeli security official arrives in Egypt for meetings
Egyptian newspaper al-Youm al-Saba'a reported that an Israeli security official arrived for a short visit in Egypt, which is scheduled to last several hours. The source is expected to discuss with Egyptian officials the recent developments in Sinai and the Egyptian army's operation against Islamists in the peninsula.
According to the newspaper, the visit will also deal with an exchange of information and coordination in order to secure the shared border and deal with infiltrations and smuggling. (Roi Kais)
