The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court cleared for publication on Tuesday that Karina Bril, 36, is the woman suspected of murdering her two children, Mira, 5, and Igor, 7, in Jerusalem
The court extended Bril's remand by eight days. She was hospitalized in serious condition at Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center
after trying to kill herself and has not yet spoken to police. On Saturday, the hospital released a statement saying that there had been a slight improvement in her condition.
Bril, who made aliya this year, is suspected of stabbing her children with a knife. Her sister, who was in the house at the time of the stabbing, tried to stop her from doing so but was not successful. In the moments during which the sister went downstairs to try to get the help of a neighbor, Bril tried to put an end to her own life.
