The medical staff attending to Rabbi Ovadia Yosef reported that his condition continues to be severe yet stable, and there is danger to his life. "Shas' spiritual leader is receiving medical care to the systems of his body that suffered weakening or failure," the doctors stated.
The rabbi is hospitalized in the intensive care unit at Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem. He is currently connected to a respirator and under full anesthesia. (Noam Dvir)
