Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz (Likud) criticized US President Barack Obama's statement that keeping Israel as a Jewish and democratic state depends on the creation of a Palestinian state.
"For me, that is one of the worst statements that a US president has ever made. Mister President, the existence of the State of Israel is unconditional and does not depend on the Palestinians. The US aids Israel but we always knew how to protect ourselves on our own," wrote Katz on his Facebook page. (Attila Somfalvi)
