Abbas: Most Israelis back two-state solution

Speaking before the UN General Assembly, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas lauded the European Union's decision to ban West Bank settlements, stating it serves as a positive step that ensures the peace process is handled in a constructive manner.
He said he was certain that most Israelis were interested in peace and in the two-state solution.
